School counselors help in a lot of different ways

Counseling offers the opportunity to talk to someone who will listen in a supportive and non-judgmental manner. Counselors will help you clarify issues, explore feelings, and discuss problem-solving strategies. The On-Campus Counseling Program provides free counseling to students and families in AVIS. Support services include one-on-one and group counseling with students and family, and crisis intervention services for emergency situations that may arise on campus.

Areas frequently addressed in counseling sessions include
